N/Z Ballast
2kg N/Z Ballasting chips2000 grams N/Z gauge chippings Various weights available. OO are 2mm grey chippings. Crushed grey granite that is passed through a 2mm sieve. N/Z are 0.7mm to 1.2mmmm coloured quartz chippings passed through a 1mm sieve. It is recommended to rinse and dry before use to remove any dust. ( n.b. the new N/Z chippings are a lot cleaner than the old granite ones) 400g is usually enough to cover 10m of Tracklay Underlay
